Brazilian/Cuban soprano Angelica de la Riva has performed as a soloist with several orchestras worldwide, includ- ing making her Lincoln Center debut in 2007 with The Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Avery Fisher Hall in L’Italiana in Algieri (as the first Brazilian Soprano to sing there), the Prague Philharmonic with Melodie Dialogue in Paris, and Orchesta de Camara de Sieros at the Inauguration of La Fresneda Concert Hall in Spain. As a recitalist and chamber musician she has performed at Carnegie Hall; Strathmore in Washington, D.C.; Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millenium Park in Chicago; and venues in France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, and Brazil. Upcoming engagements include Carnegie Hall in the Amazon 11/11/11 concert with The Azlo Orchestra; the United Palace Theater and Carnegie Hall, accompanied by The Mariuccia Symphonic Orchestra; a European tour during the 2012 season and concerts in Brazil with classical guitarist NilkoAndreas.
