| Please Save the Date, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 for my 5th annual Carnegie Hall benefit concert for Best Buddies New York : Elaine Kwon and Friends. Sponsored by Klingman and Associates, the theme this year is An Evening of Rhythm and Song. I'll be playing solo piano, as well as collaborating with guest artists: singer/pianist -- Tony DeSare, Brazilian/Cuban soprano -- Angelica de la Riva, and tap dancer/founder of The Tap Factor -- Christopher Erk, who will be bringing in a group of incredible dancers in a Best Buddies tap extravaganza. There's a VIP dinner reception at 5:30 pm, concert at 8 pm, and post-concert dessert reception. Most of you know by now, Best Buddies is an organization very dear to me -- it creates friendships and job opportunities for kids and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
