Grammy and Tony Award Winner, David Bryan will be a featured Guest Artist on the annual Carnegie Hall Benefit Concert for Best Buddies New York, “Elaine Kwon and Friends” on October 23, 2012.

In a very special appearance, David will make his Carnegie Hall debut, joining Elaine Kwon on the concert stage to help raise money for Best Buddies New York, a non-profit organization and global volunteer movement that provides one-to-one friendships and employment opportunities for kids and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
David will perform solo piano and collaborative piano in this highly anticipated annual concert. Also performing as Guest Artists, are Lev “Ljova” Zhurbin, violin/viola, and Inna Barmash, vocals; Marcy Richardson, soprano; and Christopher Erk, dancer.

David will also be performing on the Savor Your Senses, Carnegie Hall “pre-event” on Sept. 13 at The Gershwin Hotel.

David Bryan won Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations for Memphis, as well as Drama Desk Awards for Best Music and Best Orchestrations. Memphis also received 2010 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical. David is the Grammy Award-winning keyboard player and founding member of Bon Jovi. Over the past 26 years the band has sold more than 130 million records and toured the world playing to millions of people. David and Joe DiPietro have also co-written the award-winning musical The Toxic Avenger. Among his work for other charities, David is a national spokesperson for VH1’s Save the Music Program.
